Program Overview

The East Coast Wizard Development Program for the 2022 – 2023 season is geared toward players born in 2014 – 2017 that have some skating and hockey experience and who want to get prepared for a Wizard team for the following season. This is a coed program that follows the principals of the American Development Model (ADM). Practices will be on Saturday afternoon at The Edge Sports Center in Bedford and will focus on skill development in the areas of skating, passing, shooting, and puck handling. Sunday morning will be game day at the Edge and will be comprised of cross-ice and small area games to emphasize fun and skill development. The program will run from September 24, 2022 through March 5, 2023.

The program is led by John O’Neill with help form parent volunteers, Wizard Jr players, and other Wizard staff. Some information about John is included below. Please let us know if you would like to help coach this season!
