Week of February 13th


Becca Gilmore – Player of the Week

Gilmore (Sr. – Wayland, Mass.) played a huge role in Harvard’s first Beanpot championship since 2015, scoring and assisting twice in an exciting 5-4 win over Boston College in Tuesday’s championship game. She followed it up with a strong weekend of league play, scoring and assisting in a 2-0 win over Princeton on Friday, and finding the back of the net again in Saturday’s matchup with Quinnipiac. Gilmore’s 38 points this season rank fifth in the league and have the Crimson in the fight for a regular-season title.


Mia Biotti – Rookie of the Week

In one of the best weeks of her young career, Mia Biotti (Fr. – Cambridge, Mass.) helped lead the Crimson to a Beanpot title with a two-point (1-1) effort in Tuesday’s championship game. The Cambridge native also dished out an assist in Saturday’s game against Quinnipiac, finishing the week with three points (1-2). The blue-liner was also excellent defensively in all three of Harvard’s outings, finishing the week with a +4 on-ice rating.



Week of February 6th


Gillis Frechette – Player of the Week

Frechette (Jr – Weston, Mass.) was on fire this week, registering nine points (3-6) in three games. She put together three consecutive multi-point games, finishing the week +7 and helping the Big Red to a pair of ECAC Hockey wins. Her best outing came in Tuesday’s 4-0 win over St. Lawrence, when she scored twice and assisted twice for a four-point night.

Week of January 24th


Becky Dutton – Goalie of the Week

This is the second consecutive Goalie of the Week honor for Dutton (Sr. – Milford, Conn.), who receives recognition after another strong week of play that saw her go 3-0-0 with a pair of shutouts. Her first shutout came against Dartmouth on Tuesday where she sent aside 25 shots. She registered her second straight blank sheet on Friday with a 29-save shutout of Princeton, before capping off her strong week with a 31-save performance in a 3-2 win over Quinnipiac on Saturday.

Anna Bargman – Rookie of the Week

Bargman (Fr. – Boxford, Mass.) was a huge part of Yale’s 3-0-0 week, finding the back of the net four times, all which came in ECAC Hockey games over the weekend. She scored twice against Colgate on Friday and twice more in Saturday’s win over Cornell, helping the Bulldogs complete season sweeps of both of their Central-New York rivals for the first time in program history. Bargman has come on strong of late, registering eight points in her last six games.

Week of January 16th


Becky Dutton – Goalie of the Week

Dutton (Sr. – Milford, Conn.) got the start in net in both games this weekend, helping the Crimson pick up league wins against Brown and Yale. She had identical stat lines in each game, making 20 saves while allowing just one goal against both the Bears and Bulldogs. She finished the weekend with a 1.00 GAA and .952 save percentage.

Week of December 12th


Sydney Herrington – Player of the Week

Herrington (Jr. – Bow, N.H.) put together an outstanding week, leading the offensive charge for the Big Green who finished the week 3-0. She scored three times and added two assists for a five point week, which included a pair of multi-point games. Her best game came in Friday’s win over Post, when she scored twice and dished out an assist in a dominant 8-1 win or Dartmouth.


Hockey East Award Winners


Week of February 6th


Bryn Saarela, HC (So., F; Denver, Colo.) Recorded a power-play goal and an assist while also blocking six shots over three games against Providence.



Week of January 24th


Kelly Pickreign, BC (Sr., G; Harvard, Mass.) Stopped 32 of 33 shots (.970) to backstop BC to a 4-1 win on Friday, including 14 saves in the third period and seven power-play shots.


Week of November 23rd


Christina Vote, BU (Fr., F; Arlington, Mass.) Lit the lamp in the third period during the Terriers’ 5-4 win over #10 Boston College. She was a plus-one and had two shots on goal in the victory.


Week of November 2nd


Christina Vote, BU (Fr., F; Arlington, Mass.) Vote tallied the game-winning goal with 7.8 seconds remaining in regulation to lift BU to a 2-1 win at Providence. She scored the goal after fighting through a defender’s stick, lifting the puck past the goalie. Vote also blocked one shot on Sunday.



Week of October 12th

Christina Vote – Rookie of the week

 Vote (Arlington, Mass.) notched her first two collegiate goals this weekend for Boston University. Her first NCAA goal proved to be the game-winning strike in the Terriers’ victory over #2/2 Northeastern on Friday. She also lit the lamp at UNH on Saturday.
